Job description
The Global Potato Storage & Ag Operations Design Lead advances McCain’s global agriculture strategy by leading design standards, capital project excellence, decarbonization initiatives, and digital transformation in potato storage and grading operations.
Hard requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Agriculture, or a related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in engineering, design, and capital project management
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a complex environment
- Strong knowledge of agricultural operations, with specific expertise in potato storage systems and related infrastructure preferred
- Experience developing design standards, construction specifications, or operational best practices
- Understanding of project lifecycle management, capital project execution, and commissioning processes
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Positive leadership approach with the ability to influence across multiple levels of the organization
- Ability to work effectively within a global, cross-functional environment
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required, estimated at approximately 15-20%
- Valid passport with immediate ability to travel without restriction
