Job description
Experienced Investigator to join the Enforcement Division, investigating suspected breaches of New Brunswick Financial and Consumer Services legislation through investigative, intelligence gathering, digital evidence analysis, and OSINT techniques. The role involves assessing complaints, developing strategies, conducting interviews, supporting enforcement proceedings, and collaborating with regulatory partners to protect consumers.
Hard requirements
- Community College diploma/certificate in Criminology or specialized training in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, Data Analytics, or Intelligence Studies
- 3-5 years investigative experience in a regulatory, law enforcement, compliance, financial services or consumer protection environment
- Good working knowledge of financial and consumer protection legislation
- Experience conducting complex investigations, assessing evidence, and preparing investigative reports and recommendations
- Demonstrated experience conducting investigative interviews and collecting, documenting and preserving evidence
- Knowledge of internet and social media investigations, digital evidence handling, and OSINT tools and techniques
- Strong written and oral communication skills in both official languages

- $75K–$104K/yr
