production welder
Job description
Examine welds to ensure they meet standards, determine material weldability, and operate welding machines for custom fabrication of metal parts.
Hard requirements
- 2 years to less than 3 years experience
- No degree, certificate or diploma required
- Experience with non-ferrous materials
- Knowledge of Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and Tubular techniques
- Experience with Arc welding machines and Gas welding machines
- Ability to handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Must provide steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, and gloves
