early childhood educator - preschool
Job description
Develop and implement child-care programs to support children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development in a kindergarten setting. Assist early childhood educators with activities, records, and maintaining a safe environment for children.
Hard requirements
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years experience
- Child development assistant (ECE level 1), Child development supervisor (ECE level 3), or Child development worker (ECE level 2)
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
- Emergency child care first aid and CPR or First Aid Certificate
- Experience with special needs children or children with allergies
- Criminal record check and Vulnerable sector check
