Job description
The Building Automation Systems Specialist designs, implements, and commissions electrical and mechanical control systems while providing project management for small to large scale projects. The role involves producing CAD drawings, programming HMI databases, and offering technical support and training to diverse teams including engineers, trades people, and contractors.
Hard requirements
- Ability to work under pressure in a timely manner within a technologically changing environment
- Current knowledge of building automation systems and relevant regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio CAD drawings and controls software
- Experience with commissioning, troubleshooting, and evaluating equipment for cost effectiveness
