recreation coordinator
Job description
Recreation position requiring program planning and volunteer management skills within a school community.
Hard requirements
- Two-year diploma in recreation, leisure studies, or equivalent (waived for strong local knowledge/experience)
- Experience in sport, culture, and recreation programming
- Experience working with volunteers
- Program planning, organizational, time management, communication, interpersonal, leadership, and budgeting skills
- Ability to speak Cree or Dene is a significant asset
- Understanding of the Community
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Driver's License Class 5
Pay & benefits
- $22.56 to $26.39 per hour according to education and experience
