Job description
The Ministry of Community Safety is seeking Probation Officer/Community Youth Workers to support adult and youth offenders through supervision, rehabilitation, and case management services.
Hard requirements
- Degree or diploma in a related field such as Correctional Studies, Justice Studies, Community and Justice Services, Social Work, or Mental Health
- Knowledge of criminal behaviour, cognitive-behavioural intervention strategies, risk assessment practices, and systemic barriers affecting individuals and communities
- Strong communication, critical thinking, interpersonal, case management, and report-writing skills
- Valid driver's licence
