automotive engine quality control inspector - motor vehicle manufacturing
Duties
Inspect auto parts for defects and mark, record, and report motor defects to be repaired. Clean and maintain work space and ensure that previously noted defects have been corrected.
Hard requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience with precision measuring instruments, power tools, callipers, and micrometers
- Specialization in electrical assemblies, equipment and wiring; transmission, axle, engine and brakes; vehicle exterior coatings or finishes
- Excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, and team player skills
- Own transportation

- $19/hr

Work format
- On site at a physical location with no option to work remotely
- Work site environment is hot and noisy
- Fast-paced environment requiring repetitive tasks, attention to detail, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, hand-eye co-ordination, and handling heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Must wear steel-toed safety boots
