Buyer
Duties
The Buyer purchases raw materials and MRO items from suppliers to achieve shipment, margin, quality, and inventory goals. They expedite parts, maintain procurement records, monitor material movement, and evaluate supply sources under management guidance.
Hard requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years of experience with purchasing in manufacturing
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Understanding of methods of Purchasing and MRP
- Knowledge of procedures and coordinate requirements to receipts
- Experience with Microsoft Office
