Job description
Skilled journeyperson-level Refrigeration Technician performing minor electrical wiring, plumbing repairs, and HVAC maintenance. The role involves troubleshooting heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems, reading blueprints, and liaising with contractors.
Hard requirements
- Completion of a Journeyperson Refrigeration/Brazing Certificate from a recognized college
- Current Red Seal certification
- Class V Driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Demonstrated ability to install hardware, repair machinery, operate computers, and read blueprints
- Good working knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, electrical components, refrigeration, heat pumps, and energy management
- Consistent demonstration of NL Health Service's core values (ICARE)
- Satisfactory record of work performance and attendance
- Satisfactory certificate of conduct from the RCMP or local police authority
Pay & benefits
- $28–$31/hr
- Salary: CG29 (CAD27.61 - CAD30.67 per hour)
