Job description
Intermediate/Senior Structural Engineer for Protostatix (a division of Englobe) in Edmonton, Calgary, or Etobicoke. You will collaborate with the Structural team on projects involving wood, concrete, and steel construction, performing design, analysis, site inspections, and project management.
Hard requirements
- Registered with a provincial engineering association (e.g., PEO, EGBC, APEGS)
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering
- 5 years of transferable experience in structural design of buildings/components post-graduation, including wood construction
- Extensive knowledge of Canadian building codes and standards (CSA, ACI, NBCC, etc.)
- Experience with project management and contract administration
- Proficiency in structural analysis/modelling software such as ETABS, SAFE, SFRAME
- Valid driver's license
