School Bus Monitor

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate School Bus Monitors to assist drivers and support students during their daily commute to and from school.

In this role, you will help create a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for all passengers, particularly students with disabilities, special needs, or sensory sensitivities.

No prior experience is required?just a patient demeanor and a commitment to student safety!

Key Responsibilities Assist students with safely boarding, seating, and exiting the bus.

Support drivers by maintaining a calm and safe atmosphere on board.

Provide attentive, compassionate care for students with diverse physical, behavioral, or sensory needs.

Assist with securing specialized equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, seatbelts, or harnesses) as needed.

Additional Information Must be 18 years of age or older.

Ability to pass a Police Vulnerable Sector Check.

Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy.

Previous experience working with children, individuals with special needs, or in a caregiving role is an asset, but not required.
