Housing support worker
Job description
Administer first-aid, provide suicide and crisis intervention, and assist clients with special needs in a non-profit setting. Resolve conflicts and liaise with social services agencies while maintaining collaborative relationships with co-workers.
Hard requirements
- College/CEGEP education
- 2 to less than 3 years experience
- Valid driver's licence and driver's abstract
- Mental health first aid Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Cultural Awareness Training
- Food Safety Certificate
- Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate
- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
