Job description
QTK Fine Cabinetry is seeking an Intermediate Designer to report directly to the President, assisting with design drawings, project coordination, and client meetings while creating unique residential millwork.
Hard requirements
- At least 1-2 years experience in the custom cabinet and millwork industry or furniture background - Proficiency in English - Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software including AutoCAD - Proven work experience as a Designer, Drafter or similar role - Post-secondary education in Computer Aided Drafting / Design - Experience and/or knowledge of Kitchen Cabinetry is required - Basics of Project Management to proactively understand the needs of a client - Proficient in reading and understanding architectural drawings and specifications - Proficient in MS Office programs
