Job description
The Certification Reviewer I/II, Energy HVAC conducts technical reviews for LEED, Zero Carbon Building Standards, and IREE certification programs. This role serves as a qualified assessor and technical resource ensuring quality, consistency, and timeliness in project documentation compliance.
Hard requirements
- Undergraduate degree (Master's preferred) in Engineering or building energy systems
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in specialty area
- Currently licensed professional in specialty area preferred
- Strong knowledge of Canadian environmental building codes (e.g., MNECB/NECB, ASHRAE standards)
- Experience with energy modeling programs for commercial buildings (eQuest, IES etc.)
- LEED Accredited Professional with specialty required (at hire or within 6 months)
- Ability to obtain Government of Canada Security Clearance at the Secret level is an asset
Pay & benefits
- $55K–$81K/yr
