Job description
Inspect, test, and repair cable signals and telephone equipment. Install and maintain aerial and underground systems and trunking circuits.
Hard requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year experience
- Ability to climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures
- Ability to handle heavy loads
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Physically demanding work involving bending, crouching, kneeling
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to distinguish between colours
- Flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, client focus
- Efficient interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Initiative
