Competencies · Adaptability · Client/Customer Focus · Communication · Cultural Sensitivity · Problem Solving · Professionalism · Time Management · Attention to Detail · Commitment to Health and Safety · Economical Job Duties: - Installation and fabrication of ductwork and HVAC equipment. - Onsite job task planning, determine proper layout of systems. - Read blueprints, drawings and instructions that are to be followed. - Use of power tools & hand tools. - Complete project deadlines, even if means working additional hours. - Work inside and outside in all weather environments. - Communicate clearly and professional with site staff, co-workers and customers. - Maintain timely communications with customers, site supervisors and management to keep them informed of job status - Represent the company in all aspects of quality workmanship - Be accountable for workmanship - Provide a solid leadership, support & resources apprentice. - Daily work is fast pace and physically demanding; standing, bending kneeling and crouching for extended periods of time, lifting objects, repetitive tasks within dusty, noisy and construction areas. - Complete daily paperwork and timesheet requirements.. - Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner - Maintain a high level of customer service - Troubleshoot technical problems related to products and services - Provide customers with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services - Adapt communication style in order to deliver information effectively to a range of individuals - Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge. - Adhere to established safe working procedures and wear the proper safety equipment at all times - Assist in the resolution of design issues, change requests, material defects, and equipment problems - Maintain a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at end of day - Performing other associated duties, as assigned.

Job Requirements: - Must have valid G drivers licence - G2 Gas Technician ticket - Prior AC experience is considered an asset - Must be a strategic thinker and good communicator; with the ability to see the ?big picture? - Ability to be self-directed and disciplined. - Solid foundation and understanding of required duties - Planning and organizational skills. - Positive attitude and outlook. - Ability to quickly pick up new product and service knowledge, and communicate that knowledge effectively to customers - Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing - Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands - Demonstrated time management skills - High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment - Ability to work individually as well as part of a team - Ability to lift heavy objects, walk on uneven ground, and stand for long periods of time - Ability to perform strenuous physical labour - Ability to stand for extended periods of time - Ability to work in a hot and humid environment - Must be physically capable of performing duties, i.e. ladder use for the duration of shift. - Able to wear all PPE including work boots and hard hat Work Conditions: - Occasional overtime - Interaction with customers/clients, and the public at large - Exposure to hazards associated with the industry/trade - Extended periods of standing, and other physically demanding conditions - Hazards associated with conducting work outdoors - High noise levels
