welding technologist
Job description
We are currently seeking candidates who are qualified for the role of Welding Technologist. The position involves regular travel within North America, including the Golden Horseshoe, expected to account for at least 50% of the role.
Hard requirements
- College level education required
- Technician or Technologist Welding Diploma required
- 1-2 years previous experience in the welding industry preferred (co-op experience accepted)
- Possess superior written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- Solid customer service skills with a drive to get the job done
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
Pay & benefits
- Base salary: $57,000 - $62,000 / year (Plus applicable travel premiums)
Work format
- Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. when based at our Hamilton, Ontario manufacturing facility
- Regular travel within North America is required
- Location: 45 Innovation Dr, Hamilton, ON L9H 7L8
