Medical physicist assistant (mpa)

Job description
The incumbent performs professional work in medical physics, supporting clinical activities related to quality control, radiation protection, and equipment maintenance. They also contribute to the development of IT tools for documentation, data analysis, and automation within the department.
Hard requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization in physics or a related discipline from a recognized university
  • Ability to perform quality control tests, document results, and rigorously track collected data
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite and other software applications used within the Network
  • Physically able to perform assigned duties
  • Good previous work history (performance and attendance)
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles and compliance with confidentiality rules
Work format
  • Employment type: Temporary assignment (employer reserves the right to shorten or extend for operational reasons)
  • Schedule: Works outside regular hours for quality assurance activities when clinical equipment is not in use
  • Location type: Clinical, scientific, technical, or research environment within the Vitalité Health Network
