Senior gas fitter
Job description
Represent Reliance as a Senior Gas Fitter by professionally installing water heater and tankless equipment, replacing or repairing leaking water heaters, and maintaining HVAC equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes. Provide superior customer service, educate customers on products and services, and participate in the training and mentoring of new installers.
Hard requirements
- Completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Must have Gas Technician ‘2’ (G2) license
- Must have at least a Class G Driver’s License
- Minimum of 2 years experience in HVAC doing Installation work
- Diagnostic and HVAC maintenance skills for residential equipment
- Physically capable of performing all work required, including ability to lift and maneuver water heaters with assistance of material handling equipment
- Ability to demonstrate ability to understand/learn new technologies (i.e. Electronics/electricity)
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding customer service and organizational skills
- Very punctual and dependable
- Maintain company vehicle to neat clean and safe standard (where applicable)
- Willing and able to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required, including weekends
