Job description
Interior Health is seeking applicants for a fully funded training pathway to become a Health Care Assistant through an accredited post-secondary program. Candidates receive tuition funding and a wage while completing the 6-8 month training, followed by a paid one-year return of service after registration.
Hard requirements
  • Must reside in Nakusp, Kaslo, or Lillooet
  • If English is your first language, must have successfully completed English 10 or equivalency; if not, must have a valid English competency test from the last 2 years matching educational program requirements
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Must provide a clear Criminal Record Check from the Ministry
  • Must not have completed an HCA training program, hold BCCA registration, or be currently employed as an HCA
Pay & benefits
Tuition is fully funded and candidates receive a wage while in school; paid one-year return of service upon completion and registration.
