Job description
Meteorological Technicians in the Canadian Armed Forces analyze atmospheric conditions, anticipate weather changes, and provide critical insights for operations. Responsibilities include observing weather conditions, processing meteorological information, operating specialized instruments, briefing personnel, and forecasting weather.
Hard requirements
  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in Canada
  • Be at least 18 years old (or 17 with parental consent)
  • Have completed Grade 11 applied math or math 526/SN 5/TS 5
  • Have completed any chemistry or physics course at the Grade 11 or Secondary 5 level
