Electronic-optronic technician
Job description
As an Electronic-Optronic Technician in the Canadian Armed Forces, you service fire control systems to ensure weapons are accurate and mission-ready. Primary duties include repairing surveillance, thermal, laser, and optical systems, maintaining vehicle satellite navigation and fibre-optic systems, and operating military-pattern vehicles.
Hard requirements
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in Canada
- Be at least 18 years old (or 17 with parental consent; 16 for specific programs)
- Have completed at least Grade 10 or Secondary IV in Québec, including Grade 10 Applied Math or Math 416/CST 4 and a science course
- Ideal candidates have a college diploma
