Ammunition technician
Job description
As an Ammunition Technician in the Canadian Armed Forces, you ensure the safe storage, handling and disposal of ammunition and explosives in support of operations in Canada and abroad. You provide advice on safety matters, manage storage, prepare and ship materials, perform disposal procedures, and operate equipment.
Hard requirements
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in Canada
- Be at least 18 years old (17 with parental consent), or 16 for Paid Education/Primary Reserve programs with consent and student status
- Have completed at least Grade 10 or Secondary IV in Québec or equivalent secondary school education
- No previous work experience or career related skills are required
