Refrigeration and ventilation mechanic (2054)
Job description
Performs preventive maintenance, inspections, and repair of ventilation and refrigeration systems, including working in tight spaces and lifting heavy loads. May travel to other facilities within Zone 4 as needed.
Hard requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Provincial Certificate of Qualification as a refrigeration and air conditioning technician
- At least one year’s experience directly associated with the position’s duties
- Valid driver’s licence
- Knowledge of spoken and written French is essential, and knowledge of spoken English is required
- Proven ability to organize and manage workload, function in a changing environment, and work without constant supervision
- Working knowledge of computers
- Physical ability to perform assigned work and good work history
Work format
- 8-hour shifts - Monday to Friday
- Possibility of standby and call back
- Permanent full-time
- Edmundston Regional Hospital, Zone 4 - Northwest
