Job description
Senior civil-structure engineer role to create and lead a new practice within an established electrical engineering firm, focusing on high-voltage substations, hydroelectric facilities, and industrial infrastructure projects. The position involves designing concrete foundations, steel structures, and seismic anchoring while collaborating with senior electrical engineers.
Hard requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (structure specialization preferred).
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to produce signed and sealed plans and specifications for external contractors.
- French as working language; functional technical English.
Pay & benefits
- Salary of $105,000 to $135,000 per year according to experience.
