development miner
Duties
Responsible for the preparation and advancement of development headings, including operating MacLean Bolter or Jumbo, drilling, mucking, and installing ground support. Must demonstrate proficiency in Development Mining and safely direct less skilled employees while following company procedures and government regulations.
Hard requirements
- Working knowledge and skills in Development Mining
- 3 years mining experience (required)
- Ability to work safely and productively
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Completion of pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
- Ontario Underground Hard Rock Common Core Modules U18 or U89
