Job description
Arkbro Industries is seeking a Mechanical Technologist to create models from drawings and sketches, produce detailed shop drawings, and collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Sales teams. The role requires strong knowledge of modelling, drafting concepts in Solidworks/Autodesk Inventor, and fabrication processes related to metals.
Hard requirements
- Strong knowledge of modelling and drafting concepts in Solidworks /Autodesk Inventor
- Ability to create models from drawings and sketches
- Ability to produce detailed shop drawings
- Knowledge of fabrication processes related to metals
- Time management skills to produce accurate drawings on time
- Team player alongside Engineering, Production and Sales
- Attention to detail
- Responsible and punctual
- Solidworks/Inventor: 3 years (required)
- Ability to commute/relocate to Mississauga, ON L4W 2R9 reliably or plan to relocate before starting work
Pay & benefits
- Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
