Job description
Palmer IP seeks an intermediate paralegal to assist clients in developing intellectual property portfolios and support professionals in communicating with clients and protecting innovations.
Experience in IP is essential for this role.
Hard requirements
- Experience in IP (5 years required)
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to draft documents and correspondence
- Well versed in computing systems including Worldox, Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to exercise good judgment
- Strong critical thinking skills
- High attention to detail
- A strong work ethic
- Proactive
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload to effectively manage deadlines
- Familiarity with the CIPO website
- Reliable commute or plan to relocate before starting work in Vancouver, BC
Pay & benefits
- Annual salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 based on experience
