Job description
Victim Services Crisis Worker provides crisis intervention, emotional support, and information to victims of crime in partnership with the RCMP.
Hard requirements
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain Enhanced RCMP Security Clearance
- Sound knowledge of legislation, policies, rules and regulations governing the work performed
- Ability to respond decisively and handle emergency situations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage time and resources with minimal supervision
- Proven accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
