Job description
The Indigenous Relations Advisor fosters organizational excellence in intergovernmental relationships among Islands Trust Conservancy and Indigenous Governing Bodies, facilitating respectful engagement processes and providing professional advice to the Board and staff.
Hard requirements
  • Master?s degree in Indigenous studies, governance, land use/rural planning, social sciences, public administration, or related field plus 2 years of related experience OR Bachelor?s degree in one or more of above plus 3 years OR Diploma plus 3 years
  • Possession and maintenance of a Class 5 Drivers? License required
  • Criminal Record Check is required
Pay & benefits
  • $44.19 - $50.34 hourly
Work format
  • Part time (35 hours bi-weekly)
  • Hybrid work options available; up to 2 days at home per week subject to approved telework agreement
