building custodian
Job description
Temporary/Relief School Custodians are responsible for cleaning and securing District facilities under the supervision of the Manager of Operations and Transportation and/or the Principal.
Hard requirements
- Grade 12 completion; course work or certification as a building service worker or custodial worker is desirable
- WHMIS certification within last three years
- At least four months recent successful experience in a custodial position
- Medical certificate issued in last year demonstrating physical ability to perform all aspects of the position
Pay & benefits
Wage rate is as per the Collective Agreement between the Board of School Trustees for School District 10 (Arrow Lakes) and the Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 2450. Salary listed is $29.84.
Work format
Temporary hours can range from 3 hrs/day up to 40 hrs/week. Employment type is temporary/relief or occasional. Location is multiple locations in Nakusp.
Work location
