Job description
The Recreation Department seeks an auxiliary Out of School Care Leader to supervise snacks, lead children between the Esquimalt Recreation Centre and Macaulay Elementary, and provide care including behavior management and medication administration.
Hard requirements
- At least 19 years of age
- 20 hours of coursework in child development, guidance, health and safety, or nutrition (eg Food Safe, NLS, NCCP, Child Psychology)
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR C Certification
- Clear Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check from the Ministry of Justice
Pay & benefits
- $25.26 - $27.28 hourly which includes 14% in lieu of benefits
Work format
- Scheduled shifts vary, Monday-Friday between 6:30-9:15am and 2:00-6:00pm
