Duties
Masonry workers prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, stone, or similar materials for residential and commercial construction. Tasks include constructing prefabricated masonry units, building chimneys and fireplaces, lining industrial chimneys, and working at heights on scaffolding or swing stages.
Hard requirements
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
- No degree, certificate or diploma required
- Own vehicle
- Tools
- Safety equipment/gear including steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, gloves, and safety glasses/goggles
- Personal suitability traits: accurate, client focus, reliability, team player
Pay & benefits
- $35–$45/hr
