Job description
Reporting to the IT Manager, this role analyzes, designs, develops, and manages programming to meet business needs, while maintaining operational systems and web portals. The incumbent documents applications, optimizes workflows using cloud solutions, and provides infrastructure support.
Hard requirements
- Hold an undergraduate degree in computer science or a relevant field
- Two years of experience in client-server and web application development in an analyst position
- Fluency in two (2) of the three (3) official languages of KI (Inuktitut, English and French)
- Experience with programming languages: VB6, .NET (C #, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Visual studio)
- Experience with SQL 2016 Server and SQL language
- Experience with VBA language and PowerShell
- Knowledge of ServiceNow
- Knowledge of Web services and IIS
- Knowledge of web technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
- Knowledge of web frameworks, including ASP.Net MVC
- Knowledge of AJAX, JSON and SOAP
- Knowledge of cloud technologies
- Knowledge of Office 365
Pay & benefits
- From $55,812 to $95,643 annually depending on qualification and experience
