Job description
The Instructor delivers theoretical and practical instruction in marine, offshore, and industrial emergency response training programs at the OSSC Foxtrap Campus, Marine Base in Holyrood, and occasionally other locations.
Hard requirements
- At least four (4) years relevant experience in a marine or offshore environment
- Relevant three (3) year diploma or approved equivalent
- Valid Transport Canada Marine medical or approved equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to work in and around an aquatic environment
- Valid Transport Canada Certificate of Competency to a minimum of Watchkeeping Mate or Second Class Engineer
Pay & benefits
- $24–$74/hr
- Commensurate with Marine Institute's Instructors' Collective Agreement
