Job description
Operate machinery to process and package food products in a noisy, odorous, and hot large volume bakery or food processing plant. Perform corrective machine adjustments, check products for defects, and maintain production logs.
Hard requirements
- No degree, certificate or diploma required
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Experience with mixing, blending, baking/cooking, and packaging operations
- Experience with multi-functional process control machinery and single function machines
- Criminal record check
- Own transportation
- Ability to handle heavy loads and perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks
- Manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, and ability to stand for extended periods while bending, crouching, or kneeling
- Excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player skills, and time management
