sheet metal worker - manufacturing
Job description
Work in a noisy, dusty, and hot sheet metal fabrication shop to measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal products according to blueprints and specifications. Inspect quality, operate metalworking machines, and install hoisting and rigging equipment for HVAC systems or custom items.
Hard requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Knowledge of welding techniques such as Gas metal ARC (GMAW) (MIG)
- Experience with lifting devices, hand tools, and dollys
- Ability to handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Own transportation or access to public transportation
- Steel-toed safety boots
