Job description
Stationary Engineer responsible for operating and maintaining power plant equipment, regulating systems, and instructing apprentices. The role involves monitoring plant operations, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.
Hard requirements
- College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience
- 2 to less than 3 years of experience
- Stationary Engineer 'B' - Refrigeration Plant Operator credential
- WHMIS Certificate
- Forklift Operator Certification
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration, compressors, condensers, cooling towers, high and low pressure boilers, and water/waste treatment utilities
- Criminal record check
