apprentice bricklayer
Duties
Masons prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, or structural tiles for residential and commercial construction projects, including building chimneys and fireplaces. The work is physically demanding and requires working at heights on scaffolding.
Hard requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Personal suitability traits: accuracy, reliability, and team player skills
