Hard requirements
- Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in Social Work.
- Registration as a Social Worker with a provincial registering/licensing body.
- Experience in providing Social Work services to clients in mental health settings or correctional settings.
- Experience working independently with minimal clinical supervision.
- Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Reliability Status security clearance.
- Valid driver's license.
- English essential.
Pay & benefits
- $86,348 to $106,671.
- Correctional Service Specific Duty Allowance of $2,140 per year.
- Allowance for Master's Degree in Social Work is $3,850.
Work format
- Indeterminate basis at the Sudbury Parole Office; casual or term position considered at the Barrie Parole Office.
- Variable hours and ability to work overtime on short notice.
- Frequent travel within a province or region required.
