Job description
As an Associate Data Engineer, you will build and support basic data pipelines under guidance to ensure accurate data movement between systems. You will extract, transform, and load data using standard tools and established design patterns.
Hard requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- 0-2 years in data development, ETL support, or a related technical co-op or internship
- Foundational skills including basic SQL, scripting, and data modelling
- Understanding of data structures, relationships, and basic ETL/ELT processes
- Exposure to modern data tools such as Snowflake, DBT, FiveTran, Boomi, or API-based integrations
