aircraft towing equipment operator
Job description
Aircraft Tow Operators position aircraft from one point of the airport to another via live taxiways/runways while maintaining radio communications with ATC Ground Control. The role also involves operating various ground equipment such as Jet Bridges and Gate Power units to service aircraft.
Hard requirements
- High School Diploma
- Valid Canadian issued driver?s license with no restrictions and/or conditions
- Demonstrated ability to operate ground vehicle equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a RAIC (restricted area identification card)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a ROC (radio license)
- Able and willing to work varying shifts
- English language fluency or working knowledge
