materials testing technologist
Job description
Conduct field surveys, inspections, and testing of construction materials for buildings, roads, and bridges while supervising 1 to 2 people. Requires a college certificate or equivalent experience plus 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in structural engineering or geotechnical fields.
Hard requirements
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Certification by a provincial or territorial association
- Confidential security clearance
- Criminal record check
- Valid driver's licence
- Willing to travel
