shellfish processing labourer
Job description
Unload fish and shellfish from vessels, transport them to the work area, sort by species/weight/destination, condition filets for wrapping or freezing, weigh and pack in ice, and clean machines and work areas. No degree required; will train those with no experience.
Hard requirements
- No degree, certificate or diploma required
- Must be able to handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Personal suitability: reliability and team player
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
